Complete Review of Samsung Galaxy Ace : Fair Mid-Class Android Phone

Samsung Galaxy Ace (S5830) is a middle-class Android phone, which released by Samsung as the successor to Galaxy Spica in the past.

As a middle-class android, Ace offers a very interesting specification, 800 MHz processor is high enough for the average speed in the middle class android device. This phone is by default installed the Android version 2.2.1 (Froyo with latest updates) which would further make the performance up and optimized. Coupled with the GPU Adreno 200 to handles the processes associated with graphics and games, making the processor is not burdened when running the game, making the experience of playing 3D games at Galaxy Ace becomes more enjoyable.

Connectivity tools in this phone are 3G HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi support which able to carry the Wi-Fi Tethering where it is possible for interchangeable deploy its 3G internet connection to other devices via Wi-Fi.

In this Froyo Android, Samsung uses TouchWiz User Interface 3.0. The phone display screen has 16 million colors with a capacitive touchscreen of 3.5 "which is responsive and supports multi-touch and kinetic scrolling. The resolution is quite low by HVGA (320x480), but it is still comfortable to be seen on 3,5" screen size. In fact it is an advantage because the resolution of the corresponding optimal screen size, the performance of the GPU can work better than other devices that charge much higher resolution with the same GPU. For the matter of image clarity, this phone does not carry the specific technologies such as exist in Samsung AMOLED S Galaxy, so that the image does not seem too special.

Galaxy Ace Samsung Camera is quite good, with a resolution of 5 MP added flash to help capture images in low-light condition. Application menu & features a picture taker / video fairly complete.

The battery in use is 1350 mAh Lithium Ion battery, which is enough for normal use during the day until one and a half days. As with any other android, battery relatively wasteful when compared to non-smartphone phones. This is understandable because of the high specifications usually require the use of high power as well. And unfortunately this is not matched with a battery of 1500 mAh as its competitor LG Optimus One did.

Sometimes the touch screen technology makes the process of typing an sms or email to be difficult for those who not so familiar with it. But dont worry, with the features of Swype input options, writing would be much more easier. Only by sweeping (shifting) the finger from letter to letter, will assemble a word automatically, without needing to hit one at a virtual button.

Other technologies that carried by Ace are digital compass and GPS with Assisted GPS, FM Radio, DLNA sharing and accelerometer sensors.

Samsung Ace Galaxy is the powerful and stylish Android phone for middle class which is also fairly balanced between features and price.
